From Yemen to Israel: Is the Conflict Turning Into a Regional Chain Reaction?

The only surprising thing here is why it took so long to speak about it. The United States and Israel now face a new — yet familiar — adversary in the region, and another participant has entered the war. A new front has just opened.

For the first time since the start of this conflict, a missile has been launched toward Israel from Yemen. Israel stated that it intercepted the attack, while Yemen’s Houthi forces — allies of Iran — claimed responsibility.

The Yemeni armed forces announced that, with the help of God, they carried out their first military operation. The operation included a volley of ballistic missiles targeting sensitive military sites of the Israeli enemy in the south of occupied Palestine.

The operation coincided with actions carried out by their allies in Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

What is most concerning is not just the missile launch itself, but the clear expansion of the conflict. It is no longer a direct confrontation between Iran, the United States, and Israel.

If the Houthis escalate further, not only Israeli targets but also key maritime routes in the Red Sea could be at risk.

This means the conflict is increasingly resembling not a localized clash, but a regional chain reaction.
